Sakela Dharmic Ban (Sakela religious woods)
This park was established in 2001 for Dharan's Ward No. 15. It is used by the Rai for celebrating ubhauli and udhauli (the two seasons for sakela pujas and dancing), and for picknick. Special huts have been built to invite guests for picknick and there are no graves in the park. Is has been built by private donors and is not used by members of the new religious movements of Om Nanda (Heavenly Path) and Aatma Nanda.
